QR code generator
Turn a link or text into a QR code and download it as PNG or SVG.
Runs in your browser. Your input is processed on this device. It is never uploaded or stored.
A link, text, phone number, or anything else. Links should start with https://.
Medium: the code still scans with about 15% of it damaged or covered. Higher levels make the code denser.
Approximate width and height. SVG downloads scale to any size.

How it works
The code is generated in your browser using the QR Code standard (ISO/IEC 18004). It updates as you type and contains exactly the content you enter. It does not expire and does not pass through a tracking link.
- Formats: SVG is a vector image that stays sharp at any size, which is best for print. PNG is a pixel image for documents and websites; each module is a whole number of pixels, so edges stay crisp.
- Error correction lets a damaged or partly covered code still scan. Medium suits most uses; choose High if the code will be printed on rough surfaces or partly covered by a logo.
- Capacity depends on the content and the error correction level, up to 7,089 digits or 2,953 bytes of text at the Low level. Every code includes the 4-module white border scanners need.
- Links: Tooloist points out links that are not encrypted, use unusual characters or could run code, but it cannot tell whether a website is safe. Check the destination before you share a code.
Test the code with your phone camera before printing it.
