How it works
PDFs are combined in a background thread in your browser and never uploaded. Every page of every file is copied in the order shown; drag files or use the arrow buttons to change it.
- Checked before merging: each file is opened as soon as you add it. Files that are damaged, incomplete or not PDFs are marked, and merging waits until you remove them, so no pages are ever left out without you knowing.
- Protected PDFs (with a password or editing restrictions) cannot be merged. Remove the protection in the app that created them first.
- Verified result: the merged file is opened again and its page count checked against the total before it is offered for download.
- What may not carry over: pages, text, images and links are copied as they are; interactive form fields, bookmarks and document-level settings of the original files may not be kept.
- Limits: up to 20 files, each up to 50 MB and 100 MB in total.
